  Good place for munching ... would have given 5 stars but -- if you sit inside the main restaurant area -- it's incredibly, incredibly loud: it's like standing next to a threshing machine. The acoustics aren't their fault, but couldn't the management hang sound-absorbing panels or some such? As it is, I'd never take anyone there for a quiet chat.

  The Osborne location is exactly what I expect from any Stella's - cozy atmosphere, awesome food, and exceptionally friendly service. It's a great choice if you're looking for healthier options in the village! My personal faves: the Mexican Breakfast, Salmon Breakfast, Chickpea Curry, and Garden Burger are all great!

  I adore Stella's. The food is amazing, the portions are hearty, and the service is energetic and eager to please. Not to mention a menu with more variation than your average supermarket! If you have not visited, make it a point to do so!

  Stella’s gets a lot of heat because it got very popular and winnipeggers hate success. The fact remains is that despite the overly trendy wait staff the food is always good and the service is always prompt. Just gotta swallow whatever issue you might have with people who list granola as a hobby and order one of the many tremendous items on their menu. The breakfast is a step above what you might do at home - making it actually worth your time. A solid place - might be what Salisbury house is to our parents generation to mine when the time comes to drag our kids out for Sunday brunch.

  I'm not vegetarian, but I do keep an eye out for vegetarian options (because I have vegetarian & vegan pals, and because I don't always want to eat meat!), and Stella's has a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. And not just "take away the meat and eat what's left", many of their vegetarian/vegan dishes are specifically designed to be that way - carefully crafted and delicious!
