  Very cozy little setting in a strip mall on Osborne. Food was awesome, had the Oakwood Burger with home cut fries. Very fresh very tasty and would have it again in a heartbeat. My friend had the fish and chips and said it was tasty, but a little too much batter. We went between Christmas and New Year's and the place was full by 11:15 a.m. . It did take over an hour to order, eat and pay, but likely because of the holiday crowd. Will definitely be going back.

  Great burgers. Top 10 in winnipeg. If you are in a mood for a great burger give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Good selection of other fine food...example borscht. ..yam.

  P.s. The price was definitely right, my buddy lost the coin toss and had to pay the bill (somehow that made it taste even better)

  Food was good but not very hot. Service was very slow. I would definitely go back to try again. Menu was extensive and varied. It was full at 6 pm on a Thurs. Glad I reserved a few hours earlier.

  All day breakfast and six types of Mac and Cheese. . . What else could you ask for?! Oakwood is a dependable go-to for brunch in my family. It's a small local restaurant that makes honest food with friendly faces serving it. The parking lot is small so park on the street and walk by some of Winnipeg's nicest homes on your way to your grub.
