  Degrees is an institution at the U of M because the food is prepared fresh, on site, from as many local ingredients as possible. The rest of the food on campus if Aramark and is not fresh or of any real quality. At Degrees, the buns, rolls, and baking is done every night to ensure fresh baked goods made of local, organic flour. The coffee is fair trade and there are even vegan, gluten-free, and Halal menu choices. So, all in all, I would say degrees far exceeds the value and quality of any other restaurant or food option at the University of Manitoba.

  I went here nearly every morning for the 5 years I worked on campus. I can not express how grateful I am to the staff of this insanely busy restaurant! Great, well priced food and drinks. Responds to customers. They serve my favourite coffee at a very competitive price.

  Just the best experiences everytime when eating in their restaurant and when ordering catering from them. Ryan Woods (manager) will go above and beyond to ensure every need is met and on time. The most delicious food you'll find at the University of Manitoba.

  Not a bad place for smaller groups who want a coffee and snack during off peak hours. The lineups start early at lunch and dinner times.

  Shout outs to Woods, Erica, and Chad for holding down the fort. I'll miss you all! Let me know when/if you ever need a hand in the gardens in the summer (yes, they grow a lot of their own vegetables, too)!

  Good food. Great place to come in between your classes and chill while having a good bite. Gets really crowded though at times.

  Above average student fare for the money. Good solid food, pretty good service. The breakfast deals are among the best on campus. St. Andrews or The Daily Bread in St John's are pretty good, but Degrees has a great central location.
