  Dora is the best oral hygienist ever! I have enjoyed having her look after my teeth for many years. She is gentle painstaking and thorough. If you need your teeth cleaned she's the best choice out there. Today I had to get an old filling replaced and Dr. Shobana Sivanathan did an amazing job! Pleasant as a person and terrific as a dentist the procedure was quick and totally painless. So don't let the frumpy exterior of the building fool you it is a top class facility. If you are looking for a dentist look no further.

  They cater to my schedule and keep me informed and really care for my dental hygiene. Appointments are reminded by email even. Great place to take care of your teeth. !

  Highest recommendation for Dr. Mai, Josh and Shelly. From my visits before, I always made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the office. Dr. Mai and Josh inspire the utmost confidence by their wealth of knowledge, skill and professionalism. Knowing Dr. Mai for over 10 years, he always provided the credited advice by meeting my needs. I would definitely recommend Josh and Dr. Mai to my friends and family.

  The staff are very friendly and caring, however, I have the worst experience there with Dr. Shobana. At first place, I went to see her because I had an old root canal which was bothering me. She could not find out the reason and referred me to a dental specialist. secondly, I had a pain in one of my teeth and she said there is a cavity in that tooth and it needs to be filled out and she filled the cavity. However, I have had pain for almost three weeks after filling that cavity and I had to see her twice after she filled my tooth and nothing changed. Last time when I went to Dental Academy with pain, she said that it seems that either a root canal should be done on that tooth, or she needs to remove the tooth. I was so shocked by this explanation and I didn't want her to do root canal on my tooth. Filling a cavity it the simplest thing a dentist can do which she couldn't do it properly in my case. I am so frustrated with the time and expenses I had to spend with this doctor. I can't bite anything and have a constant pain after filling the cavity by her. I don't recommend her to anyone.

  Academy dental was the first dentist I ever had in Winnipeg back when DR.Tippti worked here before she retired. After the wonderful remodel, the office feels extra comforting. All the staff is friendly and accommodating with the at home feel of a dentist office. My family have been coming here for years upon years.
