  BerMax is our favourite neighborhood spot. The coffe tastes delicious. If you are hungry, have the Gnocchi or Ravioli, you won't be disappointed.

  I give this so called Caffe/Bistro one star, if I could I wouldn’t give it any. I have never experienced such an unprofessional encounter with staff in a restaurant in my life. I asked for the more fresh batch because the last time I tried that product, it was dry and stale. I explained this to the person working the front and they proceeded to yell at me. They used course language and did not care who heard. When I heard the way she spoke to me I wanted to return the product but they would not let me! Just like last time, the food was terrible! Please do your self a favour and stay away from this horrible location. I have no idea how they are still open!

  Mmm. Beatle and hot chocolate. They gave us a coupon for our next visit 15% off. The coupon expired in 2017... Now our 9year old has refused to eat for the rest of the day. I guess I stand corrected. It says "Passover 2017" not 'expired 2017'. I appreciate the correction and extra protein.

  I have given this place three chances, and while the owner was great the first time, an employee I dealt with the other two times was quite rude. The cafe itself is cute, and the lattes were good quality. Unfortunately bad experiences made it not worth going again.

  BerMax offers a great selection of food and drinks in a really comfortable cafe setting. Expect exceptional flavors but very small portions. It's a pretty expensive touch so we go very rarely as a treat.
