  After recently getting involved in the fish hobby and being employed in the local pet industry myself, I've made my way through many stores in the city and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This store is unfortunately one of the ugly. Many of the pets in their care were in very poor situations. Ball pythons in dry conditions (repti-carpet and heat lamps), chameleon with inadequate UV lighting (just a fluorescent bulb shared with two other tanks), crested gecko kept on mulch instead of moist soil, etc. The fish were plentiful but several were treated for ick (an immediate red flag). One plus was that each tank was running its own filter, which I could see as necessary if there's a risk they need to treat something as serious as ick. Bettas were the worst. Several were dead. Most of them were absolutely filthy with brown, cloudy water. A very sad situation. Management obviously isn't knowledgeable and doesn't care to be knowledgeable about proper animal care. Find a place that respects their own animals stock, its indicative of their respect for you as a customer and the wellbeing of your own pets, and not just what's going into their pockets by exploiting these animals.

  They're good here. Buy twelve bags of food and get one free. They're generally good about getting my dog in for nail trims too. Avoid the place across the street.
