Food, eh. Service, great. Atmosphere, good.

The food is delicious, if a little bit pricey. However, for a little less than the cost of an evening out at the movies, a group of four can have a lot of fun. It's a great way to spend a chilly Winnipeg evening.

Games are great. A little pricy to get food and play games. Our server was a little weird but nothing too crazy. Pretty good food. They also offer snacks like popcorn for the people that stay longer for the games which was a bonus. Very hipster vibe. No complaints.

The food is okay; I'd say somewhat overpriced for what it tasted like. Also, when you get something off the menu that has multiple things to it, and they don't have one of the things and you have to "subsitute", you will have to pay extra. I don't quite remember exactly what it was that I ordered, but for example, if you get a sandwich that the menu says comes with a side of salad and they don't have salad and you opt for a different side, you pay that $3 or whatever for the other option although it's them who's missing the item off their menu and you wanted the salad which wouldn't have cost you more. That would probably be the only qualm I have. Otherwise, I think the service is pretty good. I've been there a few times and would go again - maybe not to order food (I personally have trouble justifying the price, but if you're okay with that, go ahead). Last month when my friends and I went, it was really cold (and I guess they didn't have a heater or something), so they offered everyone there one free hot beverage on the house. That was pretty nice of them.

This is a very enjoyable evening out. $6 a person gets you a 6 person table where you can play any one of the thousand+ games they have. You can also come in just to eat and in that case you don't pay the $6 per person fee. That is only if you're going to play the games.

This is a great place to play board games and is reasonably priced. They have gamers to help you out if you need it, they have an amazing selection that dwarfs other board game places, the lighting is good and the tables are set up pretty well. The food is also delicious, it seems they have chosen menu items that doesn't hinder game play.

If you have a group of more than two, I would recommend a reservation. They can fill up fairly quick. Especially on the weekends.

Lots of fun! Have visited a few times and have bought several new games from their shop as well. A bit pricey to play the games... I feel there should be less/no of a charge when ordering food. It gets to be too tough on the wallet. Otherwise its a lot of fun and their game masters are typically pretty helpful with suggestions and directions.
