  Contacted Balcaen & Sons Thursday morning Jan 4th for a quote on a furnace and AC replacement, gas was shut off Wednesday by Hydro to the furnace due to a cracked heat exchanger and the AC was on its last legs. Mike Weber provided us with excellent information and various options and obviously very knowledgable about his business & products. We agreed on a price for both systems and installation occurred the next day! Ken and Joe showed up on time, laid covering for the carpets and had the new furnace operational within 5 hours and thoroughly cleaned up the work space. The AC will be installed this spring. Kudos to all, forever a Balcaen & Sons supporter!

  Terrible customer service. I had taken the day off work to get my humidifier serviced and they cancelled my appointment 20 minutes before my scheduled time. They were very unaccommodating to re-book my appointment at a convenient time for me. The service manager was rude and said she did not have a superior when I asked to talk to her boss. I guess she owns the company. I will never use this company again.

  We called Balcaen to have our high efficiency boiler serviced after it stopped working. The tech arrived at the tail end of the appointment period (earliest we could get was within 3 days of call during a busy season). He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and polite, answered all of my questions to satisfaction and gave meaningful advice for ongoing maintenance.

  Our Plumber "TYLER" was extremely professional, polite, and knowledgeable in his area of expertise. It was a real pleasure to have him come to our home to repair our bathroom leak and supply us with information. TYLER is a true asset to your company...thanks TYLER!

  Great company to deal with. We just replaced the furnace in our home. Tom was great in helping us select the correct furnace for our home. Bruce and Ben did an excellent install.

  Charge began at the time the dispatch call was made, and minimum charge is an hour. I didn't like that so much, but I appreciate that the dispatch was upfront about it. The tech made sure to give us an hour's worth of service as paid for even though the initial fix only took a few minutes. That was his initiative and I was impressed.

  I don't think the experience as a whole was quite worth 5 stars, but I would gladly call again and recommend.
