    Lovely place! All animals are healthy and have proper care, the store is clean and staff are super friendly. I recently brought a bearded dragon home from Pet Trader's and im not usually the one to buy from pet stores, but i fully trust this one. He's happy and healthy! All my experiences there have been positive so im looking forward to buying from them again :)

    I always get all my bird supplies from there and my birds are healthy and happy! Just yesterday I brought home two lovebirds who were super healthy! Love this place!

    Since this changed management it hit the toilet for care of customers! So I have fostered alot of dogs and owned as well. So I have purchased used kennels there on several occasions. They have a 2 day return policy. Which Im not sure I get seeing as you sell used items already, and you take them back and clean them and then sell them. This occasion I had to return a kennel that I had spent $100 on (used) my puppy had already grown in one week enough to not make sense to keep that kennel and shop for a new one. So I brought it back in. The older lady small in stature said OH WOW one with wheels! I said yes I purchased it here actually a week ago she asked how much I paid for it. I said $100. She told me I can give you $50 that is it. I said Can you do $60? She then in a rude tone told me loudly that this is how she pays her employees etc and I said "uhhhh OK can you do $55?" she walked away. So I thought ok I guess maybe she is checking. there was two employees behind the counter talking to each other while I stood there waiting. after a couple of minutes when I realized the lady just was doing other stuff now. I asked the employees behind counter, uhm I was talking to that lady but she just left mid conversation and I am not sure what is happening. When the young girl got the older woman the old woman said " I walked away from you because you were trying to bully me" My mouth dropped open. Really? THis is how you talk to CUSTOMERS? Where your money comes from and I was a regular shopper there. The previous owner was always willing to negotiate but I also brought in items for them and shopped there as well. He was such an awesome personality. But this new "culture" at this store since new management is awful. I couldnt believe it. I asked. That is all I did. I did not demand I just tried to negotiate. The ONLY used pet store in the city and now it is somewhere I will never go. Because they get to make $50 twice! within one week of my purchase of the same kennel. On one item. What a rip off. That was complete unfair treatment to a local customer down the street that would FAR RATHER BUY BRAND NEW WITH WARRANTY and be able to return to a store than to have to deal with that nutcase lady, thing is I can return to walmart no problem FOR HOW MANY DAYS AFTER PURCHASE????? Thanks for that experience. I will shop elsewhere and will never be back. Oh yea I also want to add about the other time I bought a huge kennel for a foster I was helping with. Clarely couldnt hold the door open myself and carry kennel but no one cared. Just watched me struggle at the door. I had to drag it out back to my car until a gentleman offered to assist me half way to my car seeing me struggle. I am sure Walmart or another giant company would like my money.

    Things are decently priced. But what really had me surprised was the presentation of the store. As soon as I walked in, it had a really bad smell to it. The used smaller fish tanks they had weren’t even clean, which threw me off. And the store wasn’t clean, the front desk was a mess and no one was doing anything about it. I’m not trying to tell them how they should do their job, but you should at least do the things that your getting paid to do.
