Expensive local place to shop. I've only had 1 cashier that wasn't snooty. Her name tag said 'Dakota' - she was very nice.

Excellent selection of groceries. Adding more and different every week. Meat dept. Best in this area. Staff always pleasant and obliging. My go to store.

Best real butcher shop and meat in Winnipeg. I always preorder up to $100 of top quality meat on my way to dine with family South of St. Norbert.

I sure hope the Marketplace reopens following the recent water-main-break damage. It is truly vital to the community and an asset for the distribution of local produce. It is my belief it would be sorely missed should it not reopen; certainly in my own life as it is my favorite place to shop for groceries for many reasons, even more than those stated in a previous review by me. How about you? Is it your GO TO favorite place to shop for groceries?

Very cozy small town feel. Won't beat superstore prices but comes close to make worth going if you don't want drive into the city. Take out chicken beats KFC any day.
