  We discovered Shane and his alternative death care company from the Death Inc. episode on CBC's Marketplace, which aired on July 21, 2017. Unfortunately, we had just completed pre-need arrangements with Arbor Memorial here in Winnipeg, no more than 4 days prior. You can imagine our shock and dismay, that we too had been pressured into a funeral package, which contained services we did not want, as well as cemetery goods and services. While we were less than joyous after our original purchases, viewing the episode only confirmed our misgivings. We promptly attempted to exercise our 30-day cancellation privilege, but they were having none of it. We called Shane and recounted our tale of woe. He advised what steps we should take to cancel the agreements and secure our (hefty) refund. He also said he would be available to help us in our time of need − and he was "in spades." Our meetings and follow-up communications with Shane and his staff were highly professional, courteous, caring, and most importantly genuine − no matter who greeted us at the door, answered the calls, texts, and fulfilled our death care needs. He is as he presents himself to be, and provides death care services as promised. When Arbor Memorial dug in their heals and threatened to delay the burial as planned, he stepped-in and took care of business. I am a strong believer in the adage "If it sounds too good to be true − it likely is!" however he is definitely an exception. To those in need, please do yourselves the greatest service and seek his expertise. You will not be disappointed, or taken advantage of. Thank you Shane & co. for everything. Randy & Monique Wright

  When my Father passed away just over 3 weeks ago, my Mother and I recalled this company from CBC's Marketplace's funeral episode (you can find the video via google easily) so we decided to give it a try. The way Shane handled everything for us, from start to finish was completely amazing. I can't find a better word than amazing. In this tough time the last thing you want is to get taken advantage of, and I can vouch that Shane is as stand up as all the other reviews states he is. My Father did not want a funeral, and I'll assume it was because of the high cost. I truly believe that he would have changed his mind had he dealt with Integrity in the past. To the whole crew (the ones on the website and videos in the background) from my family, we all would like to thank you for a beautiful celebration of life for my Father. No offense, but I hope I don't see you again anytime soon.

  I cannot recommend Shane and his team at Integrity Death Care strongly enough. Both he and Lauren made me feel absolutely comfortable from my first telephone call through to my in-person visits. I truly felt that they realized I was in tremendous shock at the time, and slowed things down for me. Exceedingly caring yet professional, they offered their services with none of the up-selling I have experienced in the past with other funeral businesses. Do not hesitate for one second to place your departed loved one into their kind hands.
