    I had cash and Debit card. BUT according to policy, which I can see why they have it, I could not get the car I reserved. Well the man at the counter made it all work out, by calling my BFF in BC and use her card. I would have been stranded for a week ! Big thank you to the quick thinking man at the counter. Will use them again !

    Arrived at the Winnipeg airport and found out the car rental is not located at the airport. I was given instructions to take a Unicity Taxi to their address and they will pay for the cab. So I did exactly that. When I arrived, the front desk agent had everything ready. The transition went smoothly, except for the one Asian manger who would not shut up and spoke to his employees in a very unprofessional/disrespectful way. A few days before returning the rental, I had called and notify the front desk about a new ding in one of the doors. The agent I spoke to over the phone went over the steps with me. I understood that I will be paying a $500.00 deductible upon arrival and will be filling out a damage report. So we did exactly that when I checked in. Three weeks later I call in for an invoice for my credit card company. I spoke to the assistant manager Heather who was very unprofessional as well. My credit company wanted the total price for the repairs and some other information. I gave her my email address to email me a copy. I never received anything. Two weeks later I called in again and she had no clue what I was talking about or who I was. My overall experience with this company was very, very unprofessional and horrible.

    Unfortunately, we were billed for quite a few extras which were not on our quote. This ended up doubling the amount we expected to pay. The last time I checked 'bait-&-switch' tactics were still illegal in Canada.

    The car we got was new and clean. It could have used winter tires since the weather was bad and there was a significant amount of snow and ice on the roads.

    Same experience then Erica Rumbolt, they take 500$ and don't return call or email, I add to go back in person and still waiting for the repair invoice after 4 months, I rent car 10 to 12 times per year and this place was by far the worst. Avis, Alamo and Hertz are happy)))

    Pleasant experience. Staff was helpful. Book earlier to get better rates. Asked for a Rav 4, got a Volkswagen Tiguan.. Nothing wrong with that.

    I flew in to Winnipeg last summer without a Visa card ! don't ask how.
