  So I ordered a custom cake for a birthday and it turned out exactly the way it was suppose to which is awesome - except it tastes like the baker forgot to put sugar in the cake. Icing, filling and cake itself was super tasteless. It was suppose to be a chocolate oreo cake but it didn't taste like any chocolate at all or oreos for that matter. I basically served an overpriced, decorated sponge to guests and it was really sad. So i saved a piece and bought it back to the bakery and it took about 5 hours before a manager got back to me. I had to call back once asking about the inquiry and no one knew what I was talking about until someone was kind enough to figure it out for me. So then the manager finally calls at 8pm and apologizes and explains that their bakery just does things differently and I should've asked for more sugar to be put in - like that's reasonable at all. I asked for a partial if not full refund and she said it wouldn't be fair. So it's fair that I served a really nicely decorated sponge on a birthday apparently. I'm not mad, just severely disappointed. The only reason why I'm not fully angry is because it did look the way they had promised it to. If I had known this was the case, I would've just baked my own cake and bought it in to be decorated for the love of God.

  Cake has too much volume and tastes like baking soda with a distinct lack of taste - as a result, their 'fresh' cakes are not moist, and are very dry. The fruit placement is cute, but really, the cake is terrible. If you like dry, spongy cake with no taste, this could be for you. Also on the pricey side with what I would consider to be an amateur/hobbyist level cake shop. Lots of room for improvement.

  This is very bad the way this business operates. We ordered a birthday cake of our only son's birthday today and they just screwed it up big time. The owner refused to fix the cake. I phoned them this morning to confirm the cake and to reassure the design. They just said yes on the phone and called me back asking me the age of my son. The chef lost the picture we gave her and she found it in after I e showed the design. I am posting the cake she made and the one we ordered. She even refused to refund or offer discount as she screwed the whole theme. I will absolutely not go to this bakery in future until they change the ownership or way they run. Very very bad business practise.

  Ordered a cake over hundred bucks, this was what we got. The fondant was smaller than I expected, and it kinda melted on the icing. The icing was too sweet. And they forgot to write happy birthday as we requested! Upset experience.
